2025 Annual Tree Planting Event

The Rotary Club of Brampton Flower City Centennial proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Tree Planting Event on Saturday, November 1, at Swinbourne Meadows in Ward 11, Mississauga. Members and volunteers worked together in teams to plant 90 native trees and shrubs, each chosen to thrive in our local climate and support a healthier ecosystem. This community initiative plays an important role in promoting biodiversity, restoring natural habitats, and enhancing green spaces that benefit both residents and local wildlife. The event also reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and hands-on service. We extend our sincere appreciation to all who participated and made this event a success, including Ward 11 Councillor Brad Butt and Mississauga–Malton MPP Deepak Anand, whose support and presence were greatly appreciated. It was a day filled with teamwork, learning, and a shared commitment to leaving a lasting positive impact on our environment — one tree at a time.
