Marathon Run fundraiser raises $5350 for Scholarship Program

Recently a friend of the club, Mr. Girish Shankaran completed a half marathon to raise funds for Rotary Club of Brampton Flower City Centennial Scholarship program. Girish met his goal by running the race in under two hours. He finished it in 1 : 54 : 50. The total amount of funds raised were $5350. 

 

Rotary Club of Brampton Flower City Centennial will support 5 scholarship students with these funds raised. Each student will receive $1000 as scholarship amount. Every year the club gives out 10 scholarships of a $1000 each.
